Heey! 
 
Now you know who i am. I'm going to tell you somthing about different dances, like: Ballet, hip hop (streetdance), ballroom dancing and other dance. And of course, things that you need when you are a good dancer!

<H2>Ballet</H2> 
History 
 
Ballet was found in France in the seventeenth century. It starts when Lodewijk XIV ballet invent. He found it so beautiful, that he decide balletperformance to give in theatre and other important buildings. 


 The different forms of ballet 
 Ballet has different forms. The oldest form is classic ballet. The moves are soft and very elegant. Females who do ballet, has a long and slim body and a long neck. Also have they shoes. With these shoes, you can stay on your toes.

The costumes of classic ballet are very beautiful. They dance in a long dress or in a short dress. The long dress calls: Juponage and the short dress calls: Tutu

 I go further with Jazz ballet. Jazz ballet came after classic ballet and is also a popular sport. No, it is not comparable with classic ballet. Jazz ballet is more of modern music. They dance on rock, jazz or hiphop. The body is free and it can move everywhere. The upper part of the body can move without the under part of the body (not literal). Yet use jazz ballet moves of classic ballet, but also moves of modern ballet and other styles

 Do you have heard about modern ballet? No?!! Read this fragment. Modern ballet is around hundred years old and it cames after classic ballet. You make application of the floor and the air. It is usual to dance without shoes. You can feel hate or love when you dance modern ballet. Your thought can be influence. It is a very beautiful sport, because you can let see your feelings.

 So, you think thats a lot of different dance!! Now I will tell you, there is more! I go further with tapdance. I think you know what tapdance is. Do you know the shoes with click? Tapdance was found in the twentieth century. There are different tapdance systems, you have: Irish and Scottish tapdance. The irish tapdance: You use your legs and foots, not your upper part of the body. Scottish tapdance: You use your foots, legs and the upper part of the body.

 So!! That was ballet, yes now i'm finished, but i finished with ballet not the other dances on my page! Haha! I let see any movies on my page of ballet, but that is at the bottom of my page.

<H2>Ballroom dancing</H2>
 Things you must know: Ballroom has two different styles. One is ballroom, you dance close with your partner and two is latin, you dance far and close with your partner.

 
 Ballroom 
 Ballroom has also different dances, for example: English waltz, tango, quickstep, foxtrot, slowfox and the Viennese Waltz. I will tell you a few of these. I begin with the English waltz. 

 
 English waltz 
 You dance with two people on the dancefloor. Waltz mean literal: turn around. You turn around with your partner at a three-four time. Mostly, you wear as a lady long dresses and a man wear a suit.

 Tango 
 There are two tango's: The ballroom tango and the Argentinian tango. The ballroom tango: You dance close with your partner and have to do with the regulation. Argentinian tango: You are free and can do what you will. You must think at bullfights. Than you have a good feeling about the tango!There are a lot of romance!

 Quickstep 
 The name say it: Quick-step. The quickstep came after the slow foxtrot and is a famous dance. It is a successor of the slow foxtrot. You use your under legs with these dance and it is mostly on cheerful music.

 Latin 
 Latin is a great name for these dances: Chachacha, rumba, samba, paso doble and the jive. I tell you a few of these. 


 Chachacha 
 The chachacha was found in Cuba in 1953. The music is very nice. It is like: Hawaii music! You turn a lot around and you move a lot in the room. You dance far away of your partner and take him/her not often by the arms or hands.

 Rumba 
 It begin in Africa, when the people make music. The slaves dance at this music and so came the dance and the music to America. The name rumba come from Spain and mean: party. I can't tell you how the Rumba work. You must see it. You can look at the bottom of my page!

<H2>Hiphop</H2> 
 A lot of people find that hiphop is a lifestyle, but it is also a musicstyle. Styles of hiphop are: rap, beatbox and breakdance. After the music came the hiphop dance. It begin by the ghetto's. The poor area's of America. The people in the poor area's let see the feelings that they have. Some people became famous. Think on 50 Cent and the white rapper Eminem.
